The Star-Junior package consists of 3 sessions of personal trainings with the pride of DEF, the STAR coaches, to help you grasp the basic techniques along with 7 sessions of personal trainings with DEF’s most promising fighters, the junior trainers, to help to follow up your training progress.

Whether you are from a beginner’s or advanced level, our team promises to provide you with the best of the training tailor- made to your needs. You can choose between the 3 teams to train with your favourite trainers.

The Teams

Team Omondi – OMONDI, LAM HON KI & MILAN

⭐⭐⭐For rookies⭐⭐⭐

(For new comers to learn the correct basics and foundation)

Star coach OMONDI has 30+ years of boxing experience and has been coaching in Hong Kong over 7 years, Omondi was not only the former Ugandan National team member, but has also been 8-time Ugandan National Bantamweight Champion 2 times East African Bantamweight Champion. Supporting Omondi would be Junior coaches Lam Hon Ki and Milan Ghale, both are the DEF new professional boxer prospects.

Having been coaching for years, Omondi is well known among the starters who tries out boxing for the first time. Omondi believes that “it is those fundamental stuff that counts in boxing”, and it is essential to acquire the important boxing techniques when starting from scratch. Whether you want to learn boxing or polish up your skills, don’t hesitate to find our star coach Omondi.

The Verano brothers – JAKE & JONRAE

⭐⭐⭐For Advanced boxers⭐⭐⭐

(White collar boxers, amateur boxers)

The Champion of Philippines Games & Amusement Board Super Bantamweight (2007), Jake Verano is renowned for being the trainer of “The Wonder Kid” Rex Tso, the former WBO Super Flyweight no.1 and WBO International Champion, in 2014-2017 as well as to WBC Youth Intercontinental and WBC ABCO Continental Champion, Raymond Poon. With 18+ years of coaching experience, Jake promises to train you like a pro with all of his heart along with his brother JONRAE who has abundant experience of coaching with a record of 20 professional wins.

With the experience of growing professional boxers, Jake and Jon are most beloved by our white collar boxers. Whether you box for fitness or to become a pro, Jake assures you that your goal will be achieved.

Team Nibesh – NIBESH, ASHISH & SAURABH

⭐⭐⭐For Active fighters⭐⭐⭐

(Gym fighters, amateur and Pro boxers)

DEF promotions’ active and promising professional boxers, NIBESH GHALE, will train you along with his most supported sworn brothers ASHISH, the 2- time HK amateur champion and Saurabh, who lives for boxing. As the head coach of the fight team, Nibesh swears to unleash your potential with all his might.

Leading the student class as well as the DEF Fight team, Nibesh has abundant experience in helping you sharpen your skills as an active fighter with his tailor made hardcore intensive boxing training. With alternative days of training boxing combinations and sparring, Nibesh will surely build a boxer out of you.
